Mold only in auditorium at WVHS

Tests of the entire first floor of Waubonsie Valley High School have confirmed the presence of mold was contained to the auditorium, school officials said Thursday.
"Environ has completed its testing, and has reported that all areas on the first floor appear to be free of macroscopic mold growth," Principal Kristine Marchiando wrote in an e-mail to parents.
Last week several patches on the carpeting in the school's auditorium were tested and found to be mold, causing the removal this week of the carpeting in that area.
"The new auditorium carpet is still on schedule to be installed in the next three to four weeks," Marchiando wrote. "Thank you for your continued support."
