This is great so when these kids cannot live up to their parents expectations at least they can say I got a 28 on my ACT. Hopefully you will have enough money left over for their therapist. I do have to admit hon that your comment comes off in a really offensive way. What's the point? You appear to really have a hang-up against either high-achieving kids, Benet kids, or just Doctor Who. What's that all about? Why come off guns loaded?

I think we should all be proud of what Benet students have accomplished no matter where our kids go. That is one hell of an achievement. So kudos to those great kids. And Slp use another term please. agree - one should be proud of kids anywhere who apply themselves to be successful - there are smart kids everywhere who are focused- they all deserve to be encouraged...I posted this article beause it was an article in the paper- would have posted the same for any school around here. have posted articles in the past on other local schools achievements- perfect ACT scores, mathletes wins etc..never remember anyone ripping on those kids as chasing windmills-- regardless of where they went to school..

Moderator: You can just keep this one and delete the other two. Since I'm in violation what is SLP not in violation for her comment? Most be a supporter of yours? Funny that once I start posting about things people on this board don't agree with I'm checked out. I think if you check the archives you'll find plenty as opinions contrary to the admin of this board...and when put forward in logical sense with facts to support them create some good two way communications- so the persecution complex will not work. as for supporters- you want to support a friend / neighbor on the SB - perfectly OK. However just saying they are not responsible for anything somehow flies in the face of the position that person took. They know that ( I hope ) - you should also. They're responsible to address it now- as a current issue which it is- of course you didn't even state which issue - just blanket absolution I guess. If you were to check the logs you will find there is no one with more than 1 ID - it prevents 'drive by's' and people starting arguments with themselves- and yes that has happened before, and not just on this board. It also upholds suspensions which are very rare here..not so the case everywhere. - you have an issue with SLP - atleast you know that is one person, separate unto themselves - sharing their opinion with you. Not sure what you expected when you join a chat room and immediately seek absolution for someone- and then ridicule high performing students...as being somehow doomed to failure..
