$154 M and no A/C in the gym

Well today I learned something that surely beats all. It tells you just what you get for $154M and what you don't I am sure they never put this out as a 'selling' point to their loyal followers on the travesty that is MVHS>

SO today I hear from a parent that has a child in camp ( freshman) @ MVHS - you know during the excessive heat warnings - and telling people to take it easy- don't overdo it etc. Well the kids have been complaining that they're sweating their behinds off all week, to the point where some don't feel well later in the day-- ( you wonder why ) -

So one of the campers asks- is the A/C broken in the gym or is it turned off to save money ? Well they were told there IS NO A/C in the gym of our $154M desparately needed - underutiized high school !!!!!!!!

Funny how 203 worked itinto their budget for Central- oh yeah that's right- they only built to what they actualkly needed and moved no one..

Are you frickin' kidding me ? Geez I guess we're lucky to have indoor plumbing eh ?

This was confirmed with our superintendent today, that none of our gyms are air conditioned. However be aware they're giving water breaks and monitoring the temperature--

If they wanted to turn off for summer to save money, I would get it..except this week of course when just walking around can dehydrate someone. But to not put it in the building when we spent enough money for a Taj Mahal replica. OMG


Man when someone is selling anything- they must see this districts buyers coming from a mile away-- open checkbook and no thought process.


As hard as these kids work for 4-5 hours straight, I am glad mine is in a gym where they actually have the air on......
