You mean you don't hold a few midnite meetings with SB members and parts of a few communities and 'just do it' because you're smarter than everyone else. ( like the 'new' Metea boundaries ) ? WHo'd have known it could actually be discussed openly

The Naperville School District 203 Board will meet Monday night to discuss a plan to allow more time to ponder boundary changes for schools in the district.
The meeting is set for 7 p.m. in the auditorium at Naperville Central High School.
The district’s Enrollment Capacity Study Group met Dec. 7 to discuss a variety of hypothetical scenarios concerning boundary changes in the future to deal with the district’s changing demographics.
After three hours, the group decided that more time is needed to discuss the district’s future challenges. The group then decided to make a few recommendations for the board to examine Monday night:
• Extend the timetable so a viable plan that meets the needs of the district can be developed.
• Expand the process to include representatives from all schools.
• Review the priorities that were identified early in the process to determine if they accurately represent the long-term goals of District 203.
• Address enrollment issues at Mill and Beebe schools prior to the 2012-2013 academic year. Both schools are experiencing overcrowding.
An early hypothetical scenario that ran on the web mentioned the idea of closing Ellsworth Elementary and Washington Junior High Schools. The mention drew a very negative public reaction. The scenario was removed from the web site as “not a viable option.”
Also, residents have stressed to the district the need for regular communication on the boundary issue. The district has said it will set up public information sessions concerning the boundary planning process in late January or early February.
At the meeting Monday, the board will take under consideration the next steps in the process.
