Not sure what "Integrated Services" means but thank goodness we have 3 persons serving as Assistant Directors, and one serving as Director - they can all help the Executive Director of Integrated Services. These must be important jobs since there are 5 administrators in Integrated Services. Anyone know what Integrated Services means?
Also, I'm sure that we need Asst. Superintendents for Elementary, Secondary and Curriculum along with Executive Directors for Elementary and Secondary and a Core Curriculum Director. Thank goodness we have all of those covered.
My point of this is just to say that we need to truly look at making some substantial cuts and EVERYTHING should be examined including all administrator positions. I'm not saying that these positions are not important and should be eliminated. I'm sure that all of these positions and personnel are very important to the district and I'm not trivializing the jobs these professionals do. To be honest though I don't know what some of these positions are but in today's economic culture our district should be looking at staff as a business would and all positions are on the table. Could some of these positions be eliminated or consolidated? Maybe it's time to trim some fat from the administration.
Who can add to this?
