On behalf of the entire team at www.nsfocfraud.com, we'd like to begin by thanking you for your support. Because of your efforts, the voice of the Silent Majority has become quite loud over the past few weeks.



The NSFOC has filled their web site with misinformation. They have volunteers handing out propaganda at local grocery stores. And of course, they're still doing everything possible to collect money to fund their lawsuit against YOU and the District. Believe it or not, all this is possible thanks to the largely selfish motives of 200 paying ‘members’ of the NSFOC.



But thanks to your response to the www.nsfocfraud.com web site and the local media, the tide has turned. The NSFOC is now on the defensive. They’ve become more desperate. But perhaps most important, the School Board, City Council and many other legal entities are now fully aware of the volume and passion of your support. It’s evident we’ve already won in the court of public opinion. And in short order -– thanks to your continued involvement -– we can all look forward to a similar victory in a court of law.



Aurora City Council meeting TOMORROW (3/25) at 6 p.m.

On Tuesday, the Aurora City Council will be voting to formally annex the Eola/AME property to build Metea Valley High School . We are encouraging the Silent Majority to attend in a show of support for the school site, the Board and for City Council members. The meeting will be held at Aurora City Hall, 44 E. Downer Place, on the 2nd floor in the Council Chambers. If you can attend, we ask that you wear a white shirt to be seen as one of the many members of the Silent Majority.



OTHER SAFETY NEWS and NOTES

Though it’s easy to discount the NSFOC lawsuit as selfish and frivolous, one thing we will not discount is the importance of safety. The NSFOC has made more false claims and web site edits than we can count. That’s why we’re taking a different approach.



While we won’t proclaim to be safety experts, we do have faith: faith that among the Board, the EPA, the IEPA, Environ, environmental consultants and other experts -- none would seem to have a vested interest in building a high school on a dangerous site. In the end, given the importance of this topic, we encourage you to form your own educated opinion. nope - I am not including headers and such here ( 75+ people on mail list) - and let me make it clear- it did not come from a school admin - but someone taking it upon themselves to speak for them - forwarding the nsfocfraud stuff.

This should not be too hard to image. Since a lot of you were in the VoteYes organization I am sure you can remember when you had special access and supported the admin/board when asked.

I know I was not here but it seems to me like NSFOC-Fraud has taken this role. I assume this organization will also be the grass roots reelection and vote yes referendum organization. It sad that we have such polarized organizations. No where for us skeptical people to go. It is just my opinion but NSFOC-Fraud is so busy being right that they are glazing over a lot of wrongs.

I have nothing really against NSFOC-Fraud other than I am not really sure what their purpose is. They seem to be the admin’s or board’s apologists or moral minders. In my mind, they are a bit like the proverbial little brother tag along. They want desperately to be taken seriously. But I am pretty sure the admin/board can protect itself. And no matter how many hateful LTEs are published the lawsuit will run its course. The only real accomplishment is making it harder to heal after the process is complete.

All that said I have two games...

1. What does the appendix body part have in common with NSFOC-Fraud?

2. Hammer is to USEFUL as NSFOC-Fraud is to ___________ ?

Oh please. This site about the pipeline 'scam' is a load of crap by people who obviously have no damn clue what they are talking about.

Let's all just have faith that it will be safe.

What a bunch of crap.

We are supposed to feel better that the pipeline company on occasion (once a year or once every 2 years) checks for leaks. Leaks mean something bad has already happened.

They check the pipes every 7 years for corrosion? One in the UK was monitored to have lost 12mm of pipe in 1 single year from corrosion. At the 7 year interval that would be 84mm of pipe gone from corrosion. Most pipes are not 84mm think to begin with. But no, let's have faith. Faith that 84mm of possible corrosion can hold natural gas at over 600psi when the pipe thickness is typically 50mm to begin with when it is new.

Sounds stupid doesn't it? That's because it is.

The pipes supposedly have an auto-shut off in case of a leak. Will they tell you how many BTU's will burn in the event of a leak before the auto-shutoff kicks in? Anyone outside will be cooked or melted. At only 200 feet from the pipes, part of the building will be GONE from the explosion along with anyone unfortunate enough to be inside of that part of the building.

But, let's have faith, shall we? That has always prevented any bad accidents from ever happening in history, right?

This is one of the dumbest places in the district to put a school because of the loss of life and loss of property potential that can occur from one single tiny 'woops'. God forbid someone wants to breach the pipes some time in the future due to the fact that there will inevitably be catastrophic damage. Saying this is the best place for a school is the most negligent and irresponsible position anyone in their right mind could stand on.

Arch is absolutely right. Because the minions tend to follow the status quo there is no need to wonder why the brigade of wannabes is following the school board. They always do. We have no idea how much of this is independent of the school board or not. No idea at all.

OK, I' play - and remember, this is just done in jest

1a). It's full of bacteria.
1b). It gets infected, explodes, and causes the body severe pain
1c). It can be removed with no side effects
1d). It is not a necessary body part *

2). Useful if your problem is a nail, and we all know we're:
a). Getting screwed
b). Dealing with loose screws

Rumor and of course this is only a rumor. A few of the residents up north are a bit concerned about congestion and parking.
