magneto - where is that claim? I looked on their site and can't find it. If you can show me, then I won't have to call BS on her BS claim. (That's way too much S*&! for me). Sorry, It was part of an article on the NSFOC people 'Our standards won't be lowered' NSFOC members say safety, distance are main concerns March 21, 2008 By Tim Waldorf twaldorf@scn1.com Naperville Sun Neighborhood Schools for Our Children cannot be characterized as a handful of disgruntled Tall Grass and White Eagle residents who hate Waubonsie Valley High School, its leaders say. In an interview Thursday with The Sun, NSFOC leaders said the group's 300 financial supporters and 3,000 registered Web site users are more than that. NSFOC, which has filed for not-for-profit status with the secretary of state's office, was born from a core team of about a dozen concerned Fry Elementary School parents after District 204 announced new attendance boundaries that would come with the building of a third high school. Those boundaries would send students in the Fry area to Waubonsie, which is about 8 miles north of their neighborhood. Neuqua Valley High School, which Fry students would have otherwise attended, is but a mile and a half away. I don't see that figure as being a quote from the NSFOC. It seems it might have been information from them, but since it is not quoted, we can't be sure who provided that info.

Then there are those of us that want a third HS built somewhere/anywhere, as long as it is safe. Anyone see the new (unscientific) SUN poll - "Do you think D204 needs a third HS?"

Like most things, short term they look great but over time the cowpies slowly cause you a cascading series of problems that eventually leads to expensive complications, health concerns and financial collapse due to the increased long-term costs to support the bad lifestyle habits and paying of the piper down the road. Oh, you mean like negotiating school bonds that would have been paid off in 10 years into 40-year bonds to push through a referendum for a school to be built on a property we did not own? That kind of thing? Man, this Kool-Aid is starting to taste funky. Yup, I pointed out that stupid financial move back in 2005/2006 before the vote.

You are right - it's about not wanting WV. I think you hit the nail on the head. For the LTE writer.
