Per their SEC filings, they also have many peaking plants and many have been shut down after a cost assessment was done in 2004 to determine whether it makes sense to retrofit them to comply with the NSR standards for emissions or not. The older ones (Electric Juntion included) were deemed not worth the investment, so the business decision was made to no longer operate them.

I'm embarassed to ask, as I'm sure everyone else already is aware, but why are there two different boards? (ip204.proboards92.com) Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I believe that was the point of blankcheck's earlier post. Yes the blue board can think for itself IMO, the ad was trying to establish a track record based on the past. You can choose to believe it or not.

You can choose to believe it or not. It appears some will defend this site (AME-MWGEN) regardless as I have stated before. Yes, I think we ARE bright enough here to know the difference between coal and oil etc.... But a track record of issues is hard to hide from ( unless you're dealing with 204 it appears then it doesn't matter it seems) - The good news is maybe Ms Madigan will take more of an interest here now - especially since a senator in her party just got ripped on also

Aha! That was the week I moved, so I was out of the loop for a few days. Thanks, Brad! I wondered why a bunch of people who used to post had disappeared. I'm very bummed...what's the point of having all the same views? Thanks, sushi, for sticking around. I may not always agree with you, but like hearing two sides. Wish everyone else would come back.

missing the point-- if one speeds - they likely run red lights also. If they have issue selsewhere- are we to believe all was done right here because why ?

Would you rather I not pilfer from the green board? I think it's fine. I am just being a smart-butt. Well as long as it is not out of context

I'm here to be your whipping post! Not necessary! It's good to hear two sides; how else can one learn?

Sushi, I'm not crazy about sushi, but I like you and think that even though I don't always agree with you, you make some good points.

It is always great to have a debate with both sides represented. As long as name calling and labelling stays out of it.

It is always great to have a debate with both sides represented. As long as name calling and labelling stays out of it. In most cases, there is always more than 2 sides and when we frame it into a binary choice (This or that, US or THEM) we lose the truth and the real focus because it often times devolves into a Win/Lose race.
