CFO's Semi-annual funing report (D-2) for the first half of the year has been disclosed at the Illinois State Election Board of Elections site: www.elections.il.gov/CampaignDisclosure/D2Semi.aspx?id=321492Highlights: Looks like they raised about $7500 (close to $10,000 with "loans") $7500 from King Development & Construction LLC $1200 in "non-itemized" funds Paul white gave close to $2400 In loans It looks from the debt balance that Paul White's "loans" have been mostly paid back. It seems that King Development & Construction's contributions almost exactly matched his loans. The King Development contribution was made 3 days before the referendum. On might misread that Paul White was acting as a front to hide the King Development funding. It's nice that he got all his money back though. I wouldn't want Mr White to have had any of his own skin in the game edit: 204 The Kids was posted also: www.elections.il.gov/CampaignDisclosure/D2Semi.aspx?id=322183Highlights: 3800 carried over from '05 Aramark 5K Gurtz Electric - 14K Ivy Ridge Homeowners $250, but later had it given back (that's wierd) Laidlaw - 5K Oxford Bank (BG's gig) - 1K Sodexho - 1K Whitt Law - 1K Weismann Hughes - 2K I can link about 6K to white eagle $54,000 - wow, that's some coin

Let's also keep theCFO contributors not listed by ED but are listed on the linked page in mind.

If they decide to run for the SB, if these people decide to flood the Sun with LTEs, if they show up in SL Hoooker articles.

Has anyone figured out who King Development and Construction is? What was their motive to support CFO?

Let's also keep theCFO contributors not listed by ED but are listed on the linked page in mind. A good suggestion, but I can't help but be surprised by a possible omission on the report. I seem to recall Ari Rosenthall providing legal representation in their election board hearing, but I guess that doesn't count as an in-kind contribution. (Does pro bono translate from latin as "for the boneheads?")

Go to the state board of elections main website and look at the A1 report for citizens for options. Ari made more than one contribution. Go to this link: www.elections.il.gov/CampaignDisclosure/CommitteeDetail.aspx?id=19070You will find this on the A1: Rosenthal, Esq., Ari 3135 Brossman Naperville, IL 60564 $465.00 2/26/2006 In-Kind Contribution Citizens for Options promotional items The Naperville Sun 1500 W. Ogden Ave Naperville, IL 60540 Rosenthal, Esq., Ari 3135 Brossman Naperville, IL 60564 $31.00 3/2/2006 In-Kind Contribution Citizens for Options promotional items The Naperville Sun 1500 W. Ogden Ave Naperville, IL 60540 Rosenthal, Esq., Ari 3135 Brossman Naperville, IL 60564 $250.00 3/16/2006 In-Kind Contribution Citizens for Options legal fees The Naperville Sun 1500 W. Ogden Ave Naperville, IL 60540 Guess he doesn't want to be publicly affiliated with this group, just run it from behind the scenes and throw other peoples names out there while he hides his. Isn't it interesting that the only four days CFO actually filed financial details with the state board of elections was 3/16.3/18,3/19,&3/20, the date of their hearing and immediately after. No financial business to report before or after their hearing date? ? not even right before the election? ?? Hmmmmm. . . . . . . . This is one guy you don't want to lose track of!

Thanks for the clarification, but I'm having a hard time understanding the difference between the A-1 and the D-2. Are the in-kind contributions on the A-1 lumped in with the non-itemized figures on the D-2? Part of the reason I am confused is that they seem to be covering the same time period.

I wonder what part of the construction that Gurtz Electric Co. will get? Will they get the contract for the electrical on the new High School? 14K is quite a donation.
