VOTER REGISTRATION
If you need to register to vote or update your voting address, please see the above websites or phone numbers for procedures and locations. The regular new voter registration period ends February 21.

NEW: GRACE PERIOD FOR VOTER REGISTRATION
A new Illinois law provides a grace period for those individuals who were unable to register to vote or change their address prior to the close of voter registration on February 21. Grace period voting is available from February 22 to March 7. Residents who register to vote during the grace period must vote at that time and will not be eligible to vote on March 21. Residents who wish to use this service must appear in person at the election authority of their home county and provide necessary proof of residency.

ABSENTEE VOTING
Residents who will be out of the area on March 21 for the General Primary Election can cast an absentee ballot by mail. College students or those who will be out of town for an extended period of time can call their County office to obtain an application for an absentee ballot. The County will then handle the entire voting process by mail.

NEW: EARLY VOTING
Residents who will be in town between February 27 and March 16 can take advantage of the State of Illinois’ newly launched Early Voting initiative. Registered voters with a valid drivers license or photo ID card can vote early at the following locations:
DuPage County Residents:
Naperville Municipal Center
400 S. Eagle, Naperville
Hours: Mon - Fri 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Sat 9 AM to 12 PM
or
DuPage County Election Commission
421 N. County Farm Rd, Wheaton
Hours: Mon - Fri 8 AM to 4:30 PM, Sat and Sun 8 AM to 12 PM
Will County Residents:
Naperville Municipal Center
400 S. Eagle, Naperville
