F-stop: 8 Exposure Time: 1/500 sec. ISO Speed: ISO-100 Focal length: 6mm Max Aperature 3.625 I'll leave your camera make and model out of it for personal reasons, but it's a nice one. Oh yeah, your clock is off on it, it's about 12 hours fast. Scary what these things track these days isn't it Soon they'll have GPS in them and geotag the photos too. You are one scary bird. I use the EXIF data on the cameras all the time to validate pics. I'll have to fix the time...It's the Boy's camera...just got it for him Christmas. GPS data would be too cool...man I'm a geek!!!

Well I think that ED was pointing EESE. The massive electrical towers are tucked neatly behind the house.

Oh yeah ...no zoom or Wide angle, from normal human eye perspective. I checked the EXIF on the first set of photos that started this thread (the godzilla pics). 7MM focal length on all of them (slightly wider). No zoom or telephoto either. I'll give the benefit of the doubt that they were from a normal human eye perspective (they seem to be). FWIW, 7 and 8MM focal lengths are considered to be super wide angle lenses.

Yep, it does, but the two cameras used here are very similar in sensor size (1/1.8 and 1/2.5) and the 7/8 mm on the wide angle results in the same/extremely similar field of view.
Yep, we're both geeks.

But not from the perspectice of a human standing on the school site. Correct? No because that would have been trespassing. And also not from the perspective of a human standing near the school site in the first two photos, If you look at the second you can see how far away the home is - thats just past where the school property starts.

So the school's going waaaayyyyy down there. Looks like you could have gotten much closer without trespassing

Just so everyone knows the "Power Thingy" is being removed. The "Really Big Power Thingy" Stays. By the way the Praire Path - a family recreation trail is smack dab between the "Really Big Power Thingy" and the proposed school. Just another FYI there are substations also at the Hamman and Macom sites from what I understand. HMMM now what?

I know there is a substation near Macom as well. Please provide an aerial photo showing the substation at Hamman. Does either of thos have those larger high voltage transmission towers nearby and how close would they be to the school?

You can right-click save-as and then circle the substations and repost it, or just describe their location and I will find them (case I couldn't even on a zoomed view: HMMM now what?

Actually of all power lines - the big huge white thingy kind - the 2 circuit kind are actually much safer - you know the wooden thingy kind - that would be called the one circuit kind that run thru just about everyone of our subdivisions - way more dangerous - 22 mg. You probably shouldn't come to the meeting - super duper dangerous. Those things are absolutely everywhere - maybe I should send you some of those pictures.
