Continuation -- Others closed because the thread size was approaching the point where the board software errors and loses postings.
This is a preventative measure only.

Pull Cowl south to NV and push MW west to WV and send their satellite areas (behind Meijer) N to MV. Then MV has about 2500 students in it. What does that say about the site then ? Then they should stop trying to sell this as Logical and Geographic and be honest - we had to take this site- and some people will get hosed -- sorry. Yep a lot of commutes will be worse than today- in fact worse than the worst today. Drawing us a grossly out of scale map to fit an end result does nothing

Rural, that goes against the concept of logic...logic does not change. It doesn't mean everyone is happy with the logic, but if it's logical, it is logical. If your perception changes the logic, than your perception is what is not logical.
We do have two good high schools and I think we will have a third that "positively glows".

some of the commute times noted are an insult to anyone that can use a crayon and a map

some of the commute times noted are an insult to anyone that can use a crayon and a map Only way to do that is move busses from a close area (i.e. Gombert) to a far area (i.e. Watts). Watts gets a fleet of busses that are 25% full so they can dash off and hopefully make it in under 30 minutes. Gombert gets a bus making a milk run through the entire neighborhood, probably operating at 100% capacity. Transportation times rise and equal out, so no one appear to be suffering more than anyone else. This is the real insult, that they think we can't see through this.

What I find the most ironic is that for all the talk about how smart the kids in this district are as a whole, they certainly don't think the parents are very intelligent.
