It had to due more with certain posters than the site itself. The site's info proved to be very valuable in my decision.

<There is no reason to cut down www.voteno204.org the home of the CFO site. There is very valid information there< The ipsd site is bound to having correct information as reported to the state of Illinois board of education. Who governs the voteno204 site for accuracy? Just as some dismiss other people's numbers, the same can be said the other way, whether the numbers there are right or wrong. From a slant/opinion viewpoint though I would view it somewhat akin to going to Michael Moore's website to see how George Bush is doing. I have been there and I disagree with the population expansion figures - and view an addition to Neuqua as not doing anything to solve the size of the HS issue, and all the peripherals that go with that. The site claims that building a few hundred more homes won't matter -- there is a fair amount of multi family zoned property left there, the amount left to build to me is more significant that being accounted for. Again I am not saying the site is bogus or anything like that- but statistics can be made to say anything one wants them too --- regardless of what side of this discussion one is on.

I think we agree that using all data from ipsd and voteno204 is useful. I'm not sure I could say the same about the 204thekids site. I'm not sure I could expect any different of a comment from a VoteNO person.

<In writing that Bonk Farm across from Naperbrook GC has no municipal support and that Bolingbrook is planning on high income housing.
The Eola/Monitor site <
The mayor of Bolingbrook much more interested in in raising the average price of a home in his suburb -- as he is quick to point out anytime someone puts a microphone in front of him-- and build multi million dollar golf clubs, than to build schools that house so many kids from there in both 204 and 203.

<I'm not sure I could say the same about the 204thekids site.
If the data and the method of gathering is posted along with assumptions, then one should be able to figure out if the reported statistics fits the method and assumptions.<<
what I'm saying is somewhat the same as you except I would state that all attendance figures - ISAT scores - etc etc are accurate and verifiable. Population statistics and projections ( highly suspect and subjective anywhere )- concern me when they are on a web site 'with a purpose.
Not one thing on the voteno204 HAS to be accurate....
Also unless you have specifics to address, I wouldn;t cast stones at the 204thekids site because as far as I can see most of the data there comes from the IPSD site and the math applied is not nuclear physics, rather scores based on facts and weighted by population etc.
If you are talking about commentaries on the web site- they are based on peoples viewpoints no different than on the voteno website...so I fail to see the difference...so to call one site out as having useful facts and then call another out as less than truthful seems less than fair.

If someone can't see through what is real and fake, then I would recommend turning off your computer now........... Ok, for the rest of you....I received a message from the CFO board saying that it will be up and running again sometime this week.

$500,000 a acre! Looks like 204 lied to the taxpayers again. 55 acres times 500,000, my god that is 28 million! They told us $257,000 an acre www.voteno204.org/page5.htmlFor that money we could build the addition at Neuqua and convert Peterson to a middle school and problem solved. www.voteno204.org/Let's spend money on programs and teachers, not empty buildings.

Sorry, what's the lie? The referendum doesn't promise individual prices to be paid for each portion of the successful construction of the 3rd HS. There is 1 price: $124M. Also, I believe that this Discussion Board's Admin (Topher) requested that you "stop pimping the voteno site in every post"
