In writing that Bonk Farm across from Naperbrook GC has no municipal support and that Bolingbrook is planning on high income housing.
The Eola/Monitor site
IMO, the electromagnetic risk is bull but I was shocked that I am in the minority with this opinion in my neighborhood. Moms near me are freaked about the power lines near Crone which are a good 1/4 mile away.

Were you SHOCKED? Funny word choice I think that there are alot of people who feel weird about the power lines and transformers. I would probably not like the idea of having them on school property. I tend to get a kind of Homer Simpson in Springfield feeling in the summer driving down Book Rd. listening to the lines buzzing through the open sunroof. Regardless of what the reality is, its creepy.

That eases my mind a bit.... I still want to know how much they are going to end up paying for BB before giving up.

While it would have been good to see this a while ago, it is very good that the School District is getting this information out, even now.
It seems clear that they were doing their homework on other site options as well.
This, combined with ongoing operations costs (which they've begun estimating at 4.5MM/year) will help to address many voters concerns.

This is a step in the right direction for the SB. There's still some more road to travel, but it's good to see this. There are still 35 or so days until voting. The more they get out, the better.

Now they need to come up with an estimate for operating a new MS and addition to NV as a comparison. It won't be as high as 4.5MM, but it won't be zero either. Then, a quick Sally Struthers calculation will show that the difference is only pennies per day.

I'm assuming it's a levy that the municipality places on a large property for the treatment and disposal of excess overflow runoff based on the overall acreage.
i.e. maybe it's a fee for excess that the on-site stormwater control cannot handle during excessive rainfall. All/any of this goes into the sewer system and the municipality must treat it.
You're right though, that term is not well defined.

Either just that (MS & NV addition), or new MS and incremental costs of split shifts (teacher overtime or increased salary).

I wonder how much the BB site wil save in transporation costs. I think that will cancel out most of the additional expense.
