It seems to me that the Vote No camp changes their tune more often than a 13 year old with a new MP3 player. Its hard to pin them down because they keep changing subjects or arguments. Even a bad consistent argument is better than a bunch of mediocre inconsistent arguments.
It reminds me of a bad lawyer joke. "A lawyer tells the jury hearing a murder case that he will prove that his client could not have committed the murder in Chicago because he was in New York at the time of the crime, but that if the jury believes his client was in Chicago then he will prove that his client was acting in self-defense, but if the the jury believes that it was premeditated then he will prove that his client is crazy."
P.S. I'm not nervous, too much box wine, but thanks for asking.

Charmant said Would you like to retract that? reply #22 I stand by UNTIL TONITE VOTE NO hasn't met with anyone!! I thought at the Hill PTA meeting on the 22nd it was mentioned they met with BD also -- because JC said she was unaware of that. If someone who physically attended can support this it would be appreciated as only have it second hand.

reply #22 I stand by UNTIL TONITE VOTE NO hasn't met with anyone!! That is actually a correction because you said And it was an 'invitation' to speak not a demand. Much more than I can say about the Board, which has decided that TallGrass doesn't 'rank' enough to speak to them!!! Another miscalculation by the Board!! Oh Boy

>>I'm sure that the www.voteno204.com people are nice & have kids in 204 I guess you really haven't done much research, one of the members is school board member Chirstine Vickers who voted against putting the referendum on the ballot and has 3 children in District 204 schools. Another member was on the referendum committee last year (alos has kids in 204) and realized that what 204 was saying was factually incorrect. The Citizens For Options group has thousands of volunteers and most have kids in 204 schools and are about 3 times as informed as the actual school district from what I can tell. If you spend any time on their site, it has much more truthful and factual information versus the scare tactics that 204 is using. You can not believe a thing the Howie Crouse says. www.voteno204.comAnother case of stating your opinion and not fact. I know a few SB members and they are very well informed, have kids in the district and spend a lot of unpaid time working on behalf of us all.

I guess you have not read the information on the site? www.voteno204.orgThe referendum was defeated 60% to 40% last year, it will be defeated again by intelligent people that can read and are tired of 204's waste and fraud. Blah, blah, blah.

FACT CFO spoke by invitation FACT School Board didnt' feel that Tallgrass is a significant voting block...otherwise they would have been there to chat. FACT Schoo'l Board is showing it's capacity to deal with extra curricular meetings. We need an outside company to analyze the current issue to make sure we are spending our 20 YEAR TAX DOLLAR COMMITTMENT correctly ps remember that the 2009 multi million dollar referendum has not only not been disclosed but not been voted on and accepted.

What a bunch of ****! You have no right to make blanket statements that are not based on any fact whatsoever. You have no idea why the SB didn't speak to the TG HOA. And to put words into the collective mouths of the SB like "didn't feel that Tallgrass is a significant voting block" is false, inaccurate and totally unfair and misleading. Also fairly typical of the Vote No tactics.

Fraud is a particularly serious charge to levy against a person or organization. Remember, truth is an absolute defense to libel, so I would hope you have some proof. Oherwise, you should probably drop the fraud language.

Has anyone considered the fact that the people going to a VOTE NO meeting have pretty much decided to VOTE NO. I'm not sure that they sounded credible to a bunch of followers makes much difference. They need to sound credible to people who aren't on their band wagon. And, in my opinion, they don't. As we have clearly seen on this board, credibility is in the eye of the beholder.

Forthekids Trust me... I'm not on anyone's bandwagon and STILL haven't completely made up my mind... There is so much information out there. In my opinion, it's good to hear all different PERSPECTIVES out there. I will attend the 204thekids TG meeting as well as the SB presentation to FRY and then try my best to make the best decision I can.
