Ogden, Just out of curiousity...isn't east McCarty where CV resides?? I know she lives in the McCarty area, but I'm not sure if she is west or east of the tracks. I think she may be west of the tracks, because during the boundary process she insisted that her elementary school stay together & all go to Waubonsie together instead of being split between the new & WVHS (east & west of the tracks). The manner in which she stated her opinion made it appear that her community was staying at Waubonsie, while the others were attending the new high school. She was able to get her change implemented. The only problem with her proposal is that many who were east of the tracks wanted to go to the new high school, because they'd be walkers. She was doing what was good for the "west siders", not what was good for McCarty, as a whole.

Just to update the list...we currently have Kendall, May Watts, WE, and east McCarty as "blue"...anybody disagree/ have more to add?? Ogden...is east McC the smaller portion of the McC attendance area??? East McCarty is probably smaller than West, but not by much. FYI - I have only seen 1 NO sign in East McCarty when I looked last weekend.

I know that signage isn't a real indicator of how a certain area will vote, but that being said, I was heartened today when I drove through Tall Grass on my way home from dropping my son off at practice. The YES signs outnumbered the NO signs 10:1. I also was in Ashbury and River Run today and saw only YES signs (not many but there were some and I couldn't find any NO signs). I am wondering if it is harder for people to get NO signs? Maybe the CFO doesn't have the money to purchase them or people don't know where to get them. Although, I have heard that Brookdale has plenty of NO signs so they are out there and available. Anyway, I just was happy to see so many YES signs in Tallgrass.

Maybe after the initial anger, reasonable thought is once again kicking in?

Topher....another look at your map..I think Kendall may be apathetic , but they're blue. I think SB and Patterson should be blue, but I think Gombert, Georgetown, McCarty and LW may be purple...I would say Steck should be red.

As I have stated before, I have driven through parts of Oakhurst and saw only YES signs. That was a few weeks ago, maybe I'll go by today and check again.
