If anyone wants to hold anyone accountable for this piece of slander, it is posted on the Naperville Dems website with a name, "Mary Ryan."

I think that "top ten" was supposed to be satire. It's not supposed to be "information". It's not the first time CFO has posted "jokes" on their site.

That's interesting since, the Naperville Democrates' website says "Naperville Democrats Endorse 204 Referendum" on the same page where this Mary Ryan (name not verified) post appears.

I had participated at the other site before the message board became too overburdened. There is much satire over there. Yep, could come back to hurt em, but I truly don't think it was meant to be taken seriously. Many of those thoughts or comments on that list are actually things I have heard some yes people say..... (regarding WV that is)

Sorry, I wasn't implying that the Dems website in any way, shape, or form endorsed the CFO group or its tactics. Someone posted it as a response to the fact that after giving both sides an equal chance to present their case, they (the Dems) voted to endorse the referendum.
And if it was satire, what were the intentions behind it? - Continue to divide our district - Pour salt on open wounds - Confuse the facts - Divert attention from the real issues - Tell every disgruntled group exactly what they want to hear They are very clever in their tactics, I have to hand it to them. They prey upon the emotions of those that are the most angry and upset in the district. If they keep us divided, they know they have a better chance of accomplishing their goal: a no vote, regardless of the cost to our community or children. I combed through the Illinois State Board of Elections website's PAC donation reports, I couldn't find any donation reports in their name. Their donors are very secret and clever about the amounts they donate and covering their tracks. (If anyone has better luck with this please let me know!!) Again, I ask myself, who has the most to gain by a failed referendum without any regard for the aftermath? Not our district. Not our kids. Not the homeowners of this district. Not anyone with a vested interest in the future of our community. Possibly the folks that want to sell our proposed school site to developers so they can add more children to our district with no place to put them? I don't know the answer.

Pathetic. Insulting. Infuriating. Desperate. Jokes? At the expense of the WV community. Whether I was a YES or NO voter, I would be appalled by these statements. I don't even have a child there, but WV is in my backyard.

Clearly the no people enjoy this. The question is, why? Oh yes, to save the $20-$50 a month they may have to pay if they stay the whole 20 years in case the referendum passes.
In their typically dull-lidded, slow witted ways, the CFO looks like it made a misstep in its campaign of spreading fear and deception. One can only hope that the CFO backlash is swift.
Absolutely abhorent behavior by those clods . . .

I wonder how our NO SB member appreciates this defamation of one of the school communities she is supposed to represent as a Board member.

Well, nothing unites a group like a common enemy. As this group is being exposed for what they truly are, maybe we can all come together and do what's best for the district, regardless of the vote! (Am I being too optimistic? Maybe I should change my screen name to 'pollyanna'?)

Speaking of the no-voting member of the board, has anyone emailed her asking if she endorses that group (CFO)? Does she agree with their enrollment projects and capacity numbers? I would be interested in the response, if any. I don't see anywhere on their website any endorsements.

I don't even have a child there, but WV is in my backyard. This is especially for those here who support CFO. Do you support this type of hate mongering tactics ? Is this the group you want speaking for you and your children ? Even if you are voting no ( which is your right ) - I would think you'd want to disassociate from this type of stuff. When the facts aren't enough to get ones point across, turn neighbor on neighbor.....north vs south and Aurora vs. Naperville, what next ? I really hope this piece of literature gets all the exposure it deserves, from the papers and from all groups involved on both sides of this referendum. It could be the best work to discredit the CFO yet done. There are some hate groups in this country who would be very proud of this letter.....I am embarassed for us all.

Good to remember at election time -- I hope this gets a ton of press --- it couldn't have more exposed CFo for what they are really................... I was at the Hill talent show this evening....and showed a copy of this to 2 NO voters.....both have WV grads like I do, and both found it abhorant and rethinking their stance right now......and talking to their friends - thank you CFO
