It's the criteria or lack thereof with how it's deemed 'safe' that concerns me. I'm still not convinced we can even afford it given the BB suit still pending as well as the sale of the 25 acres being counted as 'funds'. Anyone check the real estate market lately? If we're going to have to go back to the taxpayers for even a dime, might as well suck it up and buy the better place and make all of the future issues be GONE for good. Arch, BB is DOA, but you keep massaging it . I'm telling you, I'm going to have that button made up for you, or maybe bumper stickers. Keep the Dream Alive! Brach-Brodie 2010 make those Keep the Promise Alive -BB IS the site ! or Keep the Guarantee Alive -BB We Got it Covered ! and I'll take one too.

Everything is always on the market. It's a matter of the current price someone wants to part with it for. Case in point: If someone offered you 3X what your house is for, would you fluff it off or seriously consider selling? If not 3x, then 10x? There's a price on everything. For many right now, you can offer just market price and they'll jump at it just to sell. ETA: Bringing this back to the topic thread: A website countering BS with BS.. Brilliant.

Also, Fryfox, I live in WE. I am, however, ashamed by some of my neighbors actions and attitudes. I am also concerned about the safety of the site and wish it was another location. But have said many times, this is the site we can afford, if it is deemed safe, we need a third HS. It's the criteria or lack thereof with how it's deemed 'safe' that concerns me. Hopefully the answers to your questions will be on Monday. The Big reveal of the Environ Report. Are you going to be there? Could be historic!

Hopefully they will put the raw data up and I can get that to whom I need to get that to.

So, when I need to think things out I go for a swim. Funny enough I swam two miles this morning because I had a lot to think about. Yes, I will probably need to take myself to an emergency room later when my muscles start to tighten up Anyway, I was thinking about why nsfoc and nsfocfraud both drive me nuts. I'll use a sports analogy. When your kids are playing sports and they are faced with a team that is cheating or playing unnecessarily rough, what do you tell them? You tell them to rise above. Play smarter and play better. I rarely say things like you know if he slashed you why don't you slash harder. And this is my problem here. Yes, nsfoc is a problem. Yes, they are playing outside the system. But darn it, we should rise above it. We should point out why 204 is so great, why we are where we are, why we need that school. We should point at why 204 is so darn great. I am sorry both efforts make me want to hurl.. That is my .02.

i hope not. some people mentioned concerns about the motivation behind the site. this is a reply to them -- not a call to action. sorry you took it as such.

fair enough. i've monitored these boards for months and know that most of the senior members are well-informed (if not a tad biased). the intent was never to spread a 'join the cause' message on this board. this will be my last post. best of luck as you continue to form your own opinions.

BB took much tougher scruteny from it critics even though itwas a better site and could have been acquired for less money at one time.
I wish the BB critics had the guts to file a lawsuit rather than spreading rumors and lies.

I have to say that if any person instrumental in this "anti" website movement ever:
Voted NO to a 3rd high school (2005 or 2006)
-or-
Was Against Quick Take
then they will have more egg on their face than the school board.
ANTI WEBSITE GROUP OPPOSED QUICK TAKE, hurting everyone in the district
ANTI WEBSITE GROUP VOTED AGAINST 3RD HIGH SCHOOL IN 2005, hurting everyone in the district
Daeschner must be so proud that his campaign of "divide and ignore" is working.
