I suppose I'm part of the silent majority, but I'll still have one of the longest commutes in the district. What matters to me is that the Phase I and Phase II reports came back very positively from one of the best environmental testing companies, only requiring minimal remediation, which I understand will be done. After hearing/reading the reports, I am very comfortable sending my children to MV. Again, if this is truly about safety then we should be able to move on. But clearly because the NSFOC has specified in their relief request that it is essentially "BB or nothing", this will go on and on, unfortunately. So what matters to me is how much time, money and energy the board and administration will have to waste on this lawsuit. As a parent, I'm happy to attend MV. As a taxpayer, I'm ticked that the NSFOC keeps taking this to the degree they are. As a tax payer I am ticked that people are so short sited to not wait for the BB damages and selling the extra BB land. As a tax payer I absolutely puke on the contrived land report and the wasted money since the first 2005 ref.. So save me the self righteous crap, thanks. Personally I don't think they should have ever bought those 1st 25 acres like they did in the 1st place. |

It's only money and the SB/SD has a lot of it. Maybe our taxes will go even higher while the prices of our homes go lower. How did all this happend?  ?? Happened the day that the majority decided to vote back in the 3 incumbents. I hate to admit that I did vote for 2 of these 3 people. MM is a egotistical liar, AT is his lap dog and CB may look like the good ole boy but is spineless. My opinion of CV has changed.....she actually has been right to question fellow board members to slow down, access costs vs. need and question/requestion what the SB is doing. |

She was the only one up there last night acting like a board member. TONS of questions should have been asked and clarification sought but she was the only one asking proper questions. BG put the softball on the tee with his setup-->leadin questions. |

She always does, but that is ok, at least she is putting some effort into this. I always said during the 06 ref. that is great to have someone with a different opinion on the board. She really took a beating for her stance and I am proud of her!!!

I wish more would do that. If that were just it, I would agree with you, Arch. Her questions were specific to the Phase II report that was ensconced in a Confidentiality Agreement. If she shared that report with anyone other than someone within the Agreement itself, that is a direct violation of the CA. |

When you spoke to her what was your impression? My impression also - she explained what parts of the report she focused on - ( did not have time to read it all and lord knows would get no help from any of her peers) - and luckily someone actually asked something other than- " so it's all under cement then ?" -- One could also tell from the reaction that the questions asked were not from an approved list. |
