I wonder if where the original post says "A hearing is scheduled at 1 pm Thursday in the Chicago Office for Citizens For Options" it instead means "the Chicago Avenue Office for Citizens For Options" Ari Rosenthal's law firm office is on Chicago Avenue (Thompson, Rosenthal & Watts, LLP, 1001 E. Chicago Avenue, Suite 111, Naperville, IL) and I was not aware that CFO had a downtown Chicago office. If the office is used, I'm sure they'll report it as an in-kind donation at their firm's standard rates I thought he was with James, Gustafson and Thompson? Did the James and Gustafson part bail?

Little law firms like that are always changing around. Some stay around or are around longer than others, but it's not uncommon for attorneys to shift.

How can we get confirmation of the information handed over to topher?
If it's true, this needs to get into the press, no?

I was sitting at gymnastics this morning and a woman was talking very loudly on her cell phone about this very issue! She was very angry (clearly she was up in the ranks of CFO) and spewing "I don't have time for legal bs" and "I called so and so (parent from Steck area) to complain. This is all a load of crap." And then she started going on and on about Peterson sitting empty...and then she walks by me twice, and glares at my vote yes button, I smiled and she walked away. I can't wait for the 22nd...

Just talked to the Chicago office of the Il BOE.
Here is the scheldule.
Tomorrow at 1pm at a closed meeting ( at the Thompson Center) CFO will face the complaint in front of the BOE officer. The hearing officer will make a recomendation to the BOE. The BOE will make a decision at it's next meeting on 3/20.
The BOE can
1) Take the recommenadation 2) Publically hold hearings on the complaint 3) Dismiss charges 4) formally release the charges for public consumption

So nothing can go public before the 20th? :-(

I don't think the formal charges can go public until then.
All we know for sure is that a complaint has been filed.
I have no idea what is inside that complaint and no one has told me.

Who is Lisa Ohlhausen?
Does she even live in the SD?

Lisa Ohlhausen is first-vice president of the Springbrook PTA.

That is disturbing.
ITRF, if Springbrook is a NO , if Fry is close , the choice of Fry to the new HS was a HUGE MISTAKE.
Editted to clear up my point

That is Odd....I thought Springbrook was ok with it all now seeing as they are staying at NVHS.

Springbrook PTA endorsed the referendum....LO is an officer on the PTA board. I don't think it reflects on the entire attendance area.
FYI - all elementary school PTAs endorsed the ref with the exception of Brooks, Brookdale and McCarty and Still MS.
Also FYI - Clow PTA, Patterson PTA and WE PTA donated monies to 204TK
Not to imply anything about the voters in those attendance areas.

It is not surprising how Sarah Hooker turned this story about the CFO's disclosure problems into a platform for the CFO spokesperson to get some more last minute anti-referendum jabs in.
