CFO faces Campaign Disclosure Violations Thursday

Q: Nothing in the paper today...does that mean anything regarding the outcome (dismissal, public hearing) of yesterday's inquiry?

In yesterday's article, CFO said they would be filing on FRI...does that mean it will be available today??

Current elections.il.gov site says CFO filed yesterday...by paper. Does that mean it won't be available on the web until after the vote??

A complaint alleging campaign disclosure violations against the PAC Citizens for Options was reviewed today by Rupert Borgsmiller, director of campaign disclosure for the State Board of Elections. He determined that the complaint has merit. A hearing is scheduled at 1 pm Thursday in the Chicago Office for Citizens For Options to answer to these charges. Tony Wargano will be hearing this issue in the Chicago office.

I heard the case was dismissed in court, so CFO is free and clear -- is that true?

That is not true, one charge was was found to not have grounds, one was held to have merit and will continue on. As with many things, the truth is somewhere in the middle.
