FYI:
It was announced earlier today by Senator Linda Holmes that Midwest Generation has officially pulled out! They will not be selling land to the SD for the 3rd HS.

You can confirm with the District...It is real and it is public. I also assume that this was the reason for Dr. Daeschner's communication yesterday. This has been a horrible experience, but it is time to start to heal. Hopefully, the District will reach out to BB and start to negotiate a reasonable price for the BB land that will allow for building the third school as soon as possible. I called the district and they are unaware of any such thing. I was told that they would probably know if this were the case. It's a little late for April Fool's. Only time will tell. |

There is no doubt. The information is legit! I'm thinking about sending a fruit basket to Linda Holmes. Recognize that both she and Tom Cross did the right thing with getting involved in stopping the run-away train.
This is great news for the whole district (unless you're NSFOCFraud).
