A SB unwilling to negotiate with BB. A lawsuit claiming BB or nothing. (Okay, even I think that one's funny ;D) A time frame quickly slipping away. Really how bad will it be? Cram them in there for a few years. Bubble breaks and all is good in the district again. It will only hurt for a little while. CFO must be grinning ear to ear. Again, look at what you've said...."A SB unwilling to negotiate with BB"......it's our School Board and their egos!!!!!!! They've been the issue all along, yet they've stood by watching this community trash each other hoping no one would ever see the real problem. If it really is a bubble, why are we building a $150 million dollar school? What are we doing? Do you really believe that? If that's true, we're making a very costly mistake. Not that our school board hasn't spent a GREAT DEAL of our money with absolutely nothing to show for it.... I'm being sarcastic (must remember smiley faces). I think there are enough kids in this district to support three high schools, easily. I don't know if the third needs to be as big as the other two, but as Momto4 pointed out (on the green board--sometimes I just forget where I am), they do need the same amenities as the other schools.

This is why I would be interested in hearing what we offered Plainfield for their unfinished and smaller one. If we haven't talked to them yet, we should. Quicker time line, cheaper price and where the growth is.

BINGO....No one has won anything.....the only decision is that Midwest Generation is not selling their polluted land to 204....no other decision has been made....Dad204, why are you so angry? Angry, yes. That a few people who wanted their school on their terms have messed this up for everyone else's kids. Pollution was NEVER the real issue for the majority of the No School crowd, but was definitely a stronger argument than just whining that they didn't want to go to WV. The technology for cleaning up lands like this is extremely advanced and done all the time. Just got off the phone with a friend who is a No School supporter. Her view is the WV is so far from her house. Looked at distances and my son travels almost as far just to get to Middle School. If you are angry then the only people you have to blame is the SB....hopefully you will direct this anger to the appropriate people, the SB....they were trying to buy land from an unwilling seller who doesn't want to take the risk for future liability....it is REALLY SAD that are SB wanted to take the risk with the 204 children.....again, why don't you or the SB want the best for the children of 204....I don't get it.
