From the Green board today- Sleepless In Npvl Re: NSFOC speedy trial denied « Reply #49 Today at 8:19am » Well, luckily we have these things on tape. Who needs emails? Are any of the Foc'er 9 on there? ETA: THat may be why Todd Andrews can't put his name on the lawsuit. We all know his true motives. I got to keep reminding myself this lawsuit is all about boundaries and people not getting their way. I'm trying to give them more credit than they deserve. Overtaxed, I would love to comment on my post over on the green board. This is the third time someone has taken my post from there and put if over here. Why do you people feel you need to pick on me? I am sick and tired of it. Do you feel so threatened by my posts that you need to single me out? What new revelation about me does this tell? From day 1 I have been against the NSFOC. So spare me the personal attacks. I am sick of all of your childish behavior. why don't you want the blue boards to know what you say on the green boards? |

It's very time consuming to defend myself over here for something I said over there. Plus, half the people don't even know what the heck you are talking about when you pull one comment. They are free to read on green. I'd welcome you on there too overtaxed. Bet you don't have the balls to join. We don't do personal attacks. And when we post from other boards, we don't do it maliciiously as you and others are doing. If you have a problem with me, PM me. |

Enough with the witch hunt! I could say the same for you guys. I'm not on a witch hunt! Am I angry at the elected officials for getting us into the situation we are in (my opinion)? YES! I don't feel comfortable placing blame on any particular private citizen for the actions of a group. ETA: I guess I'm a little sensitive after hearing about the "hit list". |

Clarification on executive session regulations as required by the open meetings act:
Verbatim record of closed meetings: "(a) All public bodies shall keep * * * a verbatim
record of all their closed meetings in the form of an audio or video recording." 5 ILCS 120/2.06.
The recording may be kept confidential and may be destroyed no less than 18 months after
completion of the recorded meeting. 5 ILCS 120/2.06(e), (c). A particular recording may be
destroyed only after the public body approves its destruction and approves minutes of the closed
meeting that meet the requirements applicable to the minutes of open meetings.

I don't feel comfortable placing blame on any particular private citizen for the actions of a group. ETA: I guess I'm a little sensitive after hearing about the "hit list". I am talking about this whole board, not you macy. Don't worry guys. You got what you wanted. I'm out of here. I was the one person who almost was swinging your way as I have doubts about the school board. Too bad, you just lost a conversion. ETA: I only mentioned Todd because I keep saying the lawsuit would be more credible to outsiders if everyone listed isn't in TG. I know there are more people involved. I'm just saying if you don't want the heat thrown at you, it would have been nice to have other people on the lawsuit. Most people just think it is about boundaries. And again I'll state that many people from other areas for whom it's not about boundaries kept their names off of it BECAUSE OF the heat being thrown around and the fact that the last time there was heat of something even less substantial than a lawsuit, there was vandalism. |

Have fun! It's your choice what you want to do, but I can tell you people do want to hear what you have to say. If you don't want to defend positions, then you gotta do what you gotta do. I left green because I felt quite frankly some didn't care what I had to say as they are locked in one one thing and one thing only , and others who did care felt bad for my area or for me but are powerless to do anythig about it either. I still consider them my friends and will always, but sometimes it's easier to just avoid topics. If you leave you'll be missed, but each person has to do what's right for them. Also if you give up investigating your doubts on the SB- and how we got here, you'll be cheating yourself of being comfortable one way or the other. |

Have fun! Remind us again who made the exodus? I'm not trying to be a cheeky PITA.. but 'the other side' left here. Their choice, their right. I've tried to be as lenient as possible to allow ANYONE regardless of what point of view they have to post on here. In fact, there is NO BAN LIST on here. No account is banned, no IP, no email.. the list is BLANK. I exclude no one and I don't try to stifle anyone or control what they say. The only line I try to maintain is the legal one where someone might come later asking for logs and/or other info due to the nature of a post if it steps over the bounds and into those areas. We are all adults, and we can certainly act like them. |

Sorry I had to go somewhere and leave all that. If you would want to post what I say here on the green boards go ahead. What I say here I say is okay there. IMO from reading the boards (both blue and green)for a very long time EVERYONE who post on both should be consistent on both.

ETA: If you still feel the need to bring it back over here, then do it. Please just give the poster the courtesy of being able to answer on the same board it was posted on. |
