1) Diffuse all criticism. I'm wondering if that goofy email from Daeschner after MWGEN backed out is part of a "plan." I'm hoping it's not part of the strategy because if so, we are headed down the wrong path. Some may think my word was mis chosen, but it wasn't. They are not out to defuse the situation, but to cast everything as "some other group's fault" and due to guilt by association, whole neighborhoods. It's been working great, hasn't it? This has been the party line from the top down and it's repulsive and unprofessional.

Imagine what it's like sitting in these meetings and when you ask a question they don't want to answer they tell you they don't know the answer even though you know they have to know the answer. It's very frustrating. Poor communication and bad decision making got us into this mess and good communication and good decision making is the only thing that will get us out.

Impliment public relations strategies??
I thought that Dr. D's entitlement comment was the implimentation of the District's public relation strategy (pitting neighborhood against neighborhood). Why would they change it now ( the extreme racist/elitist comments from the previously dis-enfranchished northern areas was actually brilliant).

I am sure Laidlaw has it all worked out and we'll be told when it happens

They don't need to coordinate that with any other entity, do they? (changing start times, except of course with the bus companies).

ok, I just was not sure if there were any state hurdles or hoops to go through for this or if it's a 'local' thing to work out.
I hadn't thought about the teacher's union though.. good point.

I would think that any hurdles toward changing start times would be internal, not state related.
