Chirp chirp ! Seems awful qiuet on this response -- must be time to change the direction of the discussion. For those who called SK out on this - if you can show me where the personal attack on his family is - I would wholeheartedly agree with you. If not - what's the reason for calling this out ? What difference does it make if he has two boys that wrestle? I'm pretty sensitive about my kids. I don't think any mention of how many kids someone nor where they go to school, or what sports they've been in have any discussion here. I guess you all disagree. Fine! I'm done discussing it. Fire away! Not firing away - although you seem to keep playing that card even though it doesn't happen from me and I'm the one asking the question, so not sure why. I see that statement as far from a personal attack on his family - yet people were okay with critical remarks on a SB members family. Just trying to understand. |

No one said YOU did so please stop trying to twist - but neither did you pick up the pitchforks and torches and go on the offensive when that happened, so I was trying to understand how a wife is in play ( and there were attacks ) - and mentioning someones kids is not. But you are choosing to go a different direction with the replies - that's fine. I would agree it's extraneous - but not an attack -- could have ( and maybe should have) been left out. But how it set you off and a personal attack on someone's wife did not just does not add up to me. Maybe because it's someone you don't like made it more acceptable ? I didn't make either comment, so let's not try and tie me to either -- |

Well now, it seems I have stirred up something of a hornets nest. Much of seems to be about people on this board who have twisted my words into something different. I thank you Doc for coming to my defense. I will tell you that I did not disparage his family in any way nor was I even thinking to do so. I simply stated how I knew him and of his reputation which is not one to be proud of. I personally know enough about him to know that his lobbying is only for his personal gain and no other reason. (Like Lehman for example) Regardless of how offended you may be and it wasn't intentional I do not want this man having anything to do with deciding my kids future.
