Very well said bob. Oh one other thing, I want it rather soon. Some of us want to tell our children where they are going to high school in 2009.

more rumors ? Is the well endless ? I guess just like they can't build a school in less than 2 years ? Whatever goes there will be as far away from the school as Jewel and Dominicks are to NV -- so what's the issue here ? A Super Wal-Mart is better than a Tire Factory, which was the Gossip du Jour last week. Rumors are supposed to get crazier, not better. We can't even get rumor-mongering right! Wait, and how is it the SB's fault? eta - and I'm waiting for someone to post how 203 gets rumor-mongering 'right'! I want to start the rumor on Matea Central -- where 204 gets some of that land from Mitchell's estate and we build a large HS on that site in conjunction with 203 -- 'yeah, that's the ticket ' ( Jon Lovitz)

This "little lady" agrees. fortunately - per the last election - the majority of people do NOT agree with you I would qualify this as the majority of those who cared enough to vote. Hardly a majority of the district. He had better hope people's memories are short come next time, should he want to get re-elected.

rew and gatormom, Save some room on the Beat Holmes Bandwagon for me! Send Holmes home! She questioned whether the jury price for the land would come in much higher than predicted, and she was right. She also thought it was a local decision that Springfield should stay out of. Agreed. I would be happy to vote for her and support her in any way - and I know many of my neighbors feel the same way. We are also in her district.

Funny, she told me that once the matter reached Springfield, Springfield could interfere however, and that was how she justified supporting quick-take if the district changed the boundaries for 1 subdivision and 1 builder.

Oh, I get it. "QuickTake is bad.. unless we get our micro-twist with it, then it's alright."

She decided that people in $800k -$1million houses get their way with boundaries meant more than the kids in the rest of her district getting a 3rd HS in time. It seems to me that wave enough influence at her and she will change her view. Maybe she has been taking lessons from Blago.
