A butcher always keep back the best steak cut. No doubt. Arch, I'm so happy you're talking to me again. When you have something pertinent, I will. If I feel you are just being a twit to simply cause a stir with no real purpose other than to cause a stir, I won't.

Right, so if EMF's do pose a real danger, where does that leave us? We can't afford BB, Eola's out, Macom's out. What about the people living under them? (I know, they choose to live under them. Some of the very same people screaming about them live under them.)
Too bad the first ref failed.

Even those of us who voted yes look back -- as I do, and wish we had been more involved to get others to vote yes the first time. The turnout was sickly small- a few people here and there could have made a difference. I was one of those ' automatic YES voters for school referendums' that they counted on - without ever having to explain a thing............ Looking back I should have questioned a lot more

But even if that's the case, there is other land - Oswego and Bolingbrook - both of which are closer to the population growth and are more environmentally sound than AME>

The agenda for Monday's Board meeting is now on line at the district website (sorry don't know how to copy the link). Looks like some of the environmental results will be discussed in open session.
"Discussion Items (no board action taken) Safety Issues Regarding Eola Site The result of Phase I & Phase II testing and remediation of portion of site"
Let's hope they are forthcoming and share original testing documents with the district. However, I doubt they are slowing down since the rest of agenda goes on to approve several construction bids...
