Arch, ask them to send in the consultant / marketing firm now if they want a poll. Thanks for the laugh. They will be brought in to pass the operating referendum that everyone thinks has disappeared. I'll save them some money (not like they are interested in that)... Let's call it an unrequested school spirit funding shortfall. |

I think M2 has major damage control to do. The comment last night regarding the 71 percent that sent supportive emails was an irrelevant stat. The sample size was less than 900 people coupled with some may have sent multiple emails. Was that supposed to make me believe that the majority of our district supported the site and wanted the SB to pass the motion? Time to move on to boundaries but I believe that is already worked out but they will entertain emails and public comment once again but SB already has a plan. Wait and see! I really hope they have a plan already made up. I really do not want to see Options A through Z or 1 through 10 with a letter or 2 tacked on. Give us a couple of different choices, and leave it at that. Hopefully one of those choices would have MW/Cowl going to WVHS, which I do think would be a good thing. I agree. The fewer things that create a frenzy among all of us these days the better. If DD and the SB have the master plan, they just need to go for it. Tell us where we're going and leave it at that. Putting a bunch of options out for public review will just start another community dog fight and make matters worse. Its clear they have the plan - I say just get 'er done. |
