Where did they get those bus route times. Brookdale to MV is less than 4 miles, yet is 27 minutes. Owen is only 8 minutes more? Guess Brookdale has the old diesel bus that goes 25mph.

Bus Routes:
I am thinking they are cutting the number of routes in some area increasing travel time and moving them to Owen Watts and Fry decreasing travel time.

Will additional transportation services be provided? Additional bus routes will be added to the Watts, Owen, Fry and Peterson attendance areas to keep travel times within the district's current range. In order to best serve high school students who participate in after-school activities and athletics, the proposal includes providing late departure activity bus service to this same area. Early bus service is also being considered. unless light rail is being considered it is BS. So we can herd all the buses into Watts and Owen -- great. I am sure the parents of athelets and other participants will welcome that when they return from matches at 9 PM.... will the buses be there then ? And as parent participants Watts and Owen will become bystanders - Tell the person at 87th and Modaff what a difference it will make when they travel to Eola and I88 -- And the time on that late departure bus that is in the middle of rush hour -- is that like an extra 2-3 minutes ? An impossible location forced what we have here today --

I wonder if there will be a few tweaks to this after the feedback is in. IMHO Owen makes no sense.
or
has everyone already managed to melt the wires to the feedback server already.

I see a lawsuit in this district's near future. Someone is going to be upset enough. And there are plenty of errors to support one.

They also listed Brooks as having a 28 min trip to MV??? The only thing I can think is they are considering the route itself thru the neighborhoods. MW and Owen must have express busses......

And as parent participants Watts and Owen will become bystanders - congratulations to the section of the north that wanted their own Neuqua for the last 10 years - you got it and the enitire middle of 204 gets totally screwed. Tell the person at 87th and Modaff what a difference it will make when they travel to Eola and I88 -- And the time on that late departure bus that is in the middle of rush hour -- is that like an extra 2-3 minutes ? An impossible location forced what we have here today -- As I recall, the north never "asked" for New NV. As a matter of fact, I believe they didn't even want a third high school. But everyone has their own recollections of how things occurred.
