Mae West in 2007, Watts (precincts 36,41) had 1,895 registered voters, 1,367 show up at the polls (72%). Those voting did so for incumbents 75% of the time. I have no idea what this means, but I like numbers ;D

11 of the 34 precincts have reported (not sure which ones) and it is essentially a dead heat. Hepburn and Huang are ahead (but not comfortably), but there is a 6 person race behind them (Vickers, Piehl, Difusco, Moscato, DeSart and Rising). It could be very tight.

It is now 22 of 34 (but this may just be Will County).
Huang, DeSart, Hepburn and Vickers are the top four...but again, next four very close.

www.suburbanchicagonews.com/napervillesun/news/election/1515475,d204-election-na040709.article With just 18 of 81 precincts reporting two of the four candidates comprising District 204 Taxpayers for Excellence appear on their way to victory. Incumbents Chris Vickers and Cathy Piehl are running third and fourth, respectively. Voters in Indian Prairie School District 204 were going to the polls today to pick candidates for four, four-year terms. Not that long ago, the district calculated it would finish next year with a deficit of about $1 million. Now, if the district doesn’t change its plans, that deficit will likely weigh in at $6 million. It’s safe to say voters today were basing decisions on where candidates stand to fix the crisis. Plus, a controversial slate of four is running in this race. The candidates in today's race were: Dawn Desart, Doug DiFusco, Eric Hepburn, Jerry Huang, Yuming Huang, Don Moscato, incumbent Cathy Piehl, Susan Rasmus, Mark Rising, incumbent Chris Vickers and Janey Wagner.

In Will (1-4): Huang 1,560 DiFusco 1,360 Hepburn 1,282 Moscato 1,186
I'm seeing a geographic pattern. A lot is going to boil down to the southern districts in DuPage I think.

I was pleased to see that Will County supported ALL the candidates and final totals prove that. So all that talk about North vs. South needs to be put to bed. South has proven it supports candidates NOT based on geographic locations. If it were the case the final numbers would have been much larger spread. Let's see if Dupage County follows suite. I am hoping so. This divide must stop.
