I would never be so presumptious to have an 'easy solve' for so many layers. But the big one is that if the SB worked a bit more out of their box.... buildings would be better utilized and temporary solutions found for the few mega classes. That has been hashed through, discussed, dissected and finally dismissed. What particular new plan do you have? Generalizations do not work well. This board has a number of very analytical and knowledgeable people that will not be duped through vague assertions and speculation.

Doctor-Where in the article did it mention 40% stay at their home school and does little to alleviate the overcrowding? All I read was that they are looking to take up to 600 students next year.

Very perceptive Lacy and like the name btw.
But what you are learning is that this very analytical and knowledgeable are trusting volunteers to 'stay the course' to borrow, when the course is changing and can't begin to fathom starting the discussions over again hence the Friacos/crab shack focus. Liken it to the Rosie/Trump focus vs. addtl troops about to be deployed ((not if the congress can help it))
nice to see a breath of fresh air here lacy thanks

Concerns and valid points (even if done without genuine knowledge) are one thing, but let's hear a viable alternative.

So what do you call it when you carry a conversation with one self?
Ann is Lacy, Lacy is Ann.

So what do you call it when you carry a conversation with one self? Ann is Lacy, Lacy is Ann. No, Bob (or whatever your multiple names are). I know it's a suprise to you, but there are residents in the district who are concerned and we're not all part of gasp.....CRAFT!!!!!

Still no articles, uproars about the critical overcrowding position today, complaints to the SB about interim plans to handle such horrible conditions in the next two years, or gripes about the portable classrooms at scullen......hhhmmmmmm Question/discussion could it be that these problems remain manageable? ? Because of all the red tape and delayers preventing the construction of the new high school, there will be a period of time where Neuqua is bursting at the seams. My son will be there during the 2nd most bloated Neuqua of all time, but he is willing to pay the price so some of your kids, and his younger sister will be able to go to the New High School, or a less crowded Neuqua. Since the community and the government cannot solve every one of our problems, we have to try to do something ourselves from time to time. So we have purchased a blocking sled and my son is practicing blocking in our back yard, so that when he gets to Neuqua next year, he can execute his skills by blocking his way down the crowded hallways and get to class on time. What is your solution?

Your attempts at humor don't address the questions. Nor is it our job to provide solutions - it's the SB's and the district's.

When the kids rebel, not the parents, beautiful portables will arrive in the appropriate school colors and the campus will be open AFter the few bloated classes leave, bye bye portables or should they be kept on campus for extra curricular activities??

The solution is there after alternatives were considered (or were you guys asleep the past year or so). It will take time to implement and work through the legal wranglings.
You and others like you continue to roil the waters in some miguided hope that the new school plans will be abandoned and the district will be forced to come up with an alternative plan.
