For my very first post.. (so be nice) I say they release AME as the selection today. Public comment and pressure build to a point where Macom drops its price and the disctrict understand the timeline is not as important. In two weeks, it magically switches to Macom. Just a thought. You could be right. Unfortunately MM and the SB aren't exactly master strategists so this could blow up in their (and our) faces.

ok - quick thought, maybe one of you analysts can straighten me out on this - if population breakdown = 30% Metea, 30% WV, 40% NV - and 10% of that is in the NV Freshman Center, then the overall graduating class size is still larger at NV than the others - right? So the NV kids are at a disadvantage as far as class rank, limited spaces on teams,, activities etc. - right? NVHS was always going to be the bigger school even at BB.

How would they have the bussing schedule from Laidlaw unless boundaries have been set? Good point. I think it is semantics. This report was done by the admin and maybe the admin drew boundaries but the SB cannot discuss them. I don't think there is anything wrong with that scenario. here's what i think is wrong with that scenario - parents of 8th graders have decsiions to make and make soon - we need to know who is going where/ when will the school open/ what will/not the school have when opening -- these are peoples lives and kids futures - let's get some firm answers already.

Oh but that doesn't include the other costs like re-doing the architectual plans. So St. John in 2009 (incomplete building) will cost more than BB in 2010. Oh, Daeschner is a master manipulator. looks like 8M more, not less You are forgetting about the 10M in hurry up costs the district has committed to spend to get the school opened in 2009.

Part of the land is owned by Midwest Generation. Am I correct that this is/was a power plant?

Same number applies whether it was BB or StJ. (I see same section wp referenced) We dont have to make up or guesstimate numbers any more. They are all in front of us. It serves no purpose to throw out incorrect numbers.

They are counting on selling the 25 acres that we own at BB for $6,437,500. I thought BB said they are not interested in buying the land back from us? What if they can't sell the land? Looks like if there was some holdup in re-sale of land, they could delay opening to Aug 2010 and still stay on budget.

a former student from the bilter area neighborhood who was in the news the past 2 years on and off. I checked, wouldn't have been a walker. Doesn't matter.
