The coffee hasn't kicked in yet. Sorry snerdley, but I think I tend to skim your posts (early bias), though you often make very good points. While I really don't think the SB is smart enough to have orchestrated this, the more I think about this, the more I now believe that there is much more than we know and something very fishy going on. I know, just call me Captain Obvious. LOL! See, you adopted the groupthink based on the "survey" and wrote me off early on! But I really do think we've ALL been manipulated. And we're ALL losers in this little game they've played at OUR expense. We'll ALL be paying for it for a long time to come. While I agree we've all been manipulated and we're all going to lose, I don't think I ever adopted the groupthink.

Quoting Snerdley: " But at the end of the day, IMO the "emails" were used as justification for instituting Option 6. That's what they wanted all along (a new WVHS), but the referendum would not have passed. Well, sorry, folks, even if they received some hateful email, it shouldn't cause the SB or district to do anything differently than what was otherwise in the best interest of the district and kids. Otherwise, it's retaliation.
And to use the "delphi logic" that someone brought up yesterday, now we're supposed to feel bad that the rest of the district doesn't like us. So why would he say this? Well, if only NSFOC would drop the lawsuit, everyone would like us again! "this is all IMO: It's funny to be reading this because I was laying in bed thinking of all of this in a whole new light. In the scenario I'm seeing, boy is Dash &/or the SB smart. Why did AME finally decide to sell all of the land to the district? They are an African American church and they were upset that a group motivated by racism and elitism was stopping the district's ability to build a school. Back to what you are talking about snerdley: In January we heard about emails that would scald your ears. The SB knew TG/WE did not want to leave NV because of the previous boundary discussions. What a better area to rezone to WV. They were sure we'd be outspoken and fired up. Add fuel to our unhappiness by treating us like C$@p. They knew we would raise a huge stink. When we filed a lawsuit, it was like a gift! Now they could feed ideas like prejudiced/racist/elitist to the northern areas and get them all riled up and outspoken. They probably knew that Midwest Gen had serious issues and knew someone would fight that hard - now they had TG/WE ready and willing to cause problems and a good scapegoat for the fallout. Gee, Reverend, we're so disappointed that we have these small groups in the South that are so prejudiced they don't want to go to Waubonsie. We're going to have to walk away from the deal. Sorry to say. It's sad when these bad people get their way, isn't it? We got owned. Finally someone figured it out. I have been waiting patiently to see how long it would take. Pulling the race card is funny coming from many people I recall that once mocked and made accusations against the Pastor and AME during the most recent election. I recall even seeing an email with Eagledad listed as person forwarding email but SB member's cell phone attached. Hmmmm. Should be careful when cut and pasting...duh. Point is don't believe SB members are not beyond being undermining to fuel their selfish needs and have been doing so for quite some time. It comes down to doing whatever needs to be done to get what they want. Kudos CV for being an independent thinker and continue. M2 and DrD should be fired! You are right, 3Woodgal. They played the race card. And predictably, it created a firestorm.

Hey Everybody Hates Chris could always be replaced with a new sitcom (well actually it would be a drama) and just call it Everyone Hates Tallgrass.

I guess I'm a little slow today. I think that I'm just used to feeling so out of step in my neighborhood, I took (a little) offense. Though there are a few of us who get it. I guess it's just easier to buy what the SB is selling if you think it doesn't affect you or works for you. I just don't get how people can't see that it isn't going to work for ANY of us in the long term. I want to go back to not thinking about it though, after reading and realizing that MWGEN can put whatever they want next door. Nice, it just gets better and better.

Sorry folks, I just wanted to head back to the topic of "What I want the SB to know".
I want them to know that kharma is a b*tc* and I fully believe that what goes around comes around. So when they are smuggly playing this district just remember that what you give out comes back to you twofold. We may never see the way the kharma kicks back at them but I am confident that it will. Call it a hard earned life lesson.

Hey Everybody Hates Chris could always be replaced with a new sitcom (well actually it would be a drama) and just call it Everyone Hates Tallgrass. Love this one. The first episode could be driveby's crossing out the T and the GR from our neighborhood signs (like in the boundary days). The next one could the newspaper drama with all the people quoted about how racist, elitist, etc. we are. Someone gets misquoted. They meant to say we were prejudiced and they were quoted as saying we were prejudged. It's such an outrage.

Even if there is no concrete evidence that the location caused the illness, wouldn't you wonder? A lot of doubt for one location. By all means SB, keep rushing directly into this mess.

Deliberate to get us to back off, don't cha think? Hope NSFOC does not fall for it. Stay the course in what you believe. I know BB plans to. CB is way too obvious for me. I view him as the Emperor in Star Wars. He manipulates the feelings of people to get them to do what he wants. His teary eyed speeches are not backed up by his actions. He is so transparent. If his heart was nearly as kind as he tries to represent, he would never have let Fry (or any other school) continually take the fall for everything. Fry is an elementary school for crying out loud! Just think of the impact this has on the about 850 students, and all fifth grade and under! CB is NO HERO!

You are very welcome. I had to come and see for myself what all this talk is about the "bad people in the South". Seemed like a great group of parents to me. I was surprised to hear CB state he felt sorry for you all though.....or whatever term he used for the heat that is misplaced at your subdivision. I was taken aback when he told the crowd that all the other elementaries except one have a negative perception of the Fry community. Now how would he know that? Did they send out a "Do you hate Fry" survey rather than the A/C one they had planned to? "Sorry, we're too busy trying to figure out the level of hatred toward the Fry community that we have helped foster to follow up on that pesky AC problem right now." What I really think (and thanks for the laugh AE - that was some funny stuff!) is that they might have made up the emails that would "curl your hair" (or was it ears?!). Or it's entirely possible they came from some other area to create a problem. I smelled a rat on this from the first we heard of it at the site selection meeting. But at the end of the day, IMO the "emails" were used as justification for instituting Option 6. That's what they wanted all along (a new WVHS), but the referendum would not have passed. Well, sorry, folks, even if they received some hateful email, it shouldn't cause the SB or district to do anything differently than what was otherwise in the best interest of the district and kids. Well, if only NSFOC would drop the lawsuit, everyone would like us again! I'm not a leader or member of NSFOC, but I don't think CB telling those who may have been in the crowd that he "felt sorry for us" will cause them to call off the dogs. On a positive note, I know the meeting went late and it did seem he was trying his best to answer the questions. I can tell you snerdly - there is a large Watts contingent on this board as you well know -- and CB does NOT speak for us on this, or seemingly much of anything else right now.. He obviously does speak for some areas though, maybe his own back yard again ? And I know I'm preaching to the choir here, nsfoc is not exclusive to TG, nor is it a TG sponsored group Sure, now they will start the whole 'can't we all just get along' crap, now that his area has what they want... nice.
