Many residents used geography and logic when they bought their home and the district has played a cruel joke on them Oh, please! You are in an amazing school district. No matter where you live or how far your bus route is there will be a buyer for your house because of the school district you live in. It will be an even better district now because we will have not just two amazing high schools, but three. Everyone keeps complaining about boundaries that no one has actually seen. It's like planning to build a school on property that you don't own. Anything can change.

That's awesome, the headline in the Daily Herald quotes SB members as saying the boundaries will be "logical" and based on "geography". The two words I've used over and over on this board and with what I sent to Kathy B for recommended boundaries. Now, hopefully the map we see today follows those two rules and doesn't isolate anyone. Unfortunately, the MWGEN site is not logical... Yep, it's LOGICAL to place a HS in an area where only 1/2 the kids needed to fill it resdie. It's LOGICAL to have 3 ES's with longer commutes than the longest commutes today It's LOGICAL to spend $150M for this privilege -- got it

Yup.. and we still don't own the land but are doing boundaries again. deja vu? And everyone keeps assuming that their logic + geography=SB logic + geography.

Anyone at the SB meeting a few weeks ago when Dr D drew out the northern - central-0southern pods - got a glimpse of the boundaries. -- same terminology in the paper today

I find that logic and geography have a lot to do with where you sit within the geography.
