This was really disappointing to see. Not just your post, Macy, but the whole situation. And to think it started from a mod is doubly disappointing. I've posted opinions on this board earlier that I have backed away from after discussing the topic openly with others here. To throw something someone said previously back in their face now is just childish. IMO. Even if it is to make a point.

Macy, I wasn't trying to single you out, it's just that your post was the last one. I understand your frustration. I was one of those people who was singling out TG and WE initially. After discussing the situation with you and other like Sushi here on this board, I realized how irrational I was behaving. I think this board, as well as the other board, are great avenues to come together and get some understanding and perspective about the other people in this district. The board has the ability to humanize the issues.

I do try to set the example and when I F* up and someone points it out, I admit it and apologize (If you read the posts lately I had already admitted to my culpability in parts of it the last 2 days). You can have whatever unrealistic expectations of perfection you want. You will be disappointed if you hold onto them and expect it. There isn't a site around that has a perfect mod and I don't pretend to be one either.

The nice thing about being a mod is I get a last word --

People lighten up a bit. If you bring it.. It will probably come back to you. Be ready for it.

That said I think we are all adult enough to try and get along. This is an electronic message board sometimes it gets heated. In fact, it gets really boring when it does not. So thanks you Rural, Sushi, Mustang6, etc.. You make our worlds more interesting.

It would be much easier if we mods decided to ban people the first time they talk back. Believe me it would be a lot easier. We respect people's right to speak. Sometimes people get run over. If you have a problem PM one of us and we will try and work through it..

One last thing. I am pretty much done with the game we have been playing between blue and green board. You have a problem with something someone said on either board sign up and jump in. I am done with, "Oh, they said this on that board". The boards are only a URL away from each other. Physically the servers are probably within 5 feet of each other. I post on both. You can too.
